About me

Hello! My name is Olga, and I am a Catalan and Spanish teacher with over 8 years of experience in teaching both languages. I am passionate about sharing my linguistic and cultural knowledge with my students, helping them to confidently navigate both languages.

In my classes, I use interactive methods tailored to each student's individual needs. I believe in the importance of total immersion and constant practice, making my lessons dynamic, focused on real communication, and supported by authentic materials. These materials help students to closely understand Catalan and Spanish culture. I am here to help you achieve your linguistic goals and enjoy the learning process. Classes individual, for couples or groups

1 class per week: €25/h.
2 classes or more per week: €20/h.
Online classes can be on the following platforms: Skype, WhatsApp, FaceTime, Google Meet

For couples or groups, classes will always be online and the price is 20€.

How it works

My main goal is for my students to speak Spanish and Catalan fluently, so I prioritize conversation in my classes. Throughout our lessons, we'll engage in dynamic, lively discussions while I correct any mistakes. This process helps establish a strong language foundation through repetition. At the same time, we'll gradually incorporate grammar and vocabulary to enhance overall language proficiency.

Additional Assignments

I don't assign homework, as I understand that each student has their own schedule, priorities, and responsibilities. However, if you'd like to complete homework, just let me know, and I’ll be happy to provide it.

Weekly Progress

If you'd like to practice writing, I also offer the option of correcting one essay per week on any topic. This gives you the chance to practice writing and track your progress over time.

For the initial lessons, I’ll provide all the necessary materials. If you have any additional questions, feel free to ask during the first free 30-minute class or contact me privately.

My husband and I are taking Spanish classes with Olga and we are so happy we've found her! She is a great explainer and she introduces lot's of new (useful!) words and expressions during each class - which is very important to us because we want to enhance our conversational skills. I began classes with Olga a few weeks ago and already I can feel my confidence with the Spanish language improving. My experience with Olga is amazing! I was looking for some teacher with whom I could practice my speaking skills in Spanish without homework or writing exercises and I found Olga.
